This multi-level residence is connected by a light-toned timber custom cabinetry system spanning the kitchen, dining area, living room, dressing area, and loft study. Rather than repeating the same cabinetry throughout the home, the joinery takes different forms according to the size and use of each space—from full-height storage and a central island to floating base cabinets, a dressing table and a study desk. As the space moves into the living room, the joinery becomes lower, with a floating TV unit and open shelving. The reduced height keeps storage practical without taking over the room, leaving more space for furniture and the full-height windows. The kitchen, dining area and living room are not deliberately separated by cabinetry, allowing cooking, dining and conversation to unfold naturally across connected spaces.

In the dressing area and loft, the joinery becomes lighter and more restrained. Beneath the skylight, a long dressing table brings the drawers, worktop and mirror together along a single horizontal line, providing everyday functionality while preserving as much natural light as possible. In the loft, the study desk extends from the built-in shelving towards the window and connects with a low seating platform.
